Tour Itinerary

8:00 AM: Start at Bidiyah Safri Tours Office

Your local guide will meet you at our office in Bidiyah. Board a comfortable 4×4 vehicle and begin your journey as you drive into the majestic Wahiba Sands, a vast expanse of golden, rolling dunes.

9:00 AM: Camel Trekking Arrive at a scenic desert spot and embark on a unique 30-minute camel ride. Feel the gentle sway of the camel, the “ship of the desert,” as you traverse the sandy landscape and take in panoramic views. This is a fantastic photo opportunity.
9:30 AM: Thrilling Dune Bashing Hold on tight for an adrenaline-pumping dune-bashing experience! Your skilled guide will expertly navigate the towering dunes, driving up and down the steep slopes for a thrilling ride. Capture the spectacular views of the ever-changing desert from various vantage points.
10:30 AM: Desert Flora and Fauna Explore a quieter, more serene part of the desert. Your guide will share insights into the unique and resilient flora and fauna that have adapted to this harsh environment, highlighting the surprising biodiversity of the desert.
11:15 AM: Traditional Omani Lunch Savor a delicious homemade traditional Omani lunch at a picturesque location deep within the desert. This culinary experience is a highlight of the tour, offering an authentic taste of local flavors.
12:15 PM – 2:45 PM: Cultural & Scenic Exploration. After lunch, we will continue our desert journey. While the original tour mentioned visiting a specific mosque (جامع جل جلاله), this part of the tour has been adjusted for clarity and practicality. Instead, we focus on visiting local areas and scenic viewpoints. This portion of the tour is dedicated to more stunning photo opportunities and learning about the local Bedouin way of life. We will also make a visit to a local Bedouin camp, where you will experience the famous Omani hospitality firsthand.
2:45 PM: Return Journey Begin the scenic drive back to Bidiyah, watching as the afternoon light transforms the desert landscape with its beautiful golden hues.
3:45 PM: Tour Concludes

What to Bring & Wear

To Bring: Scarf, sunglasses, sun cream, and a camera.
