Day 1: Muscat – Misfat al Abriyyin – Wadi Ghul – Jabal Shams – Nizw

adventure begins with a scenic drive to Misfat al Abriyyin, a picturesque old village nestled on a mountainside. Explore its narrow, ancient stone pathways that wind down into a lush valley below.  Next, we descend into the dramatic Wadi Ghul, also known as the Oman Grand Canyon. We’ll stop at Wadi Nakhar for traditional Omani coffee and dates with locals, enjoying the view of goat hair carpets being woven.  The afternoon brings an ascent to Jabal Shams, the “Mountain of the Sun,” the highest peak in the Al Hajar mountain range, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Finally, we’ll drive to Nizwa, settling into our accommodation for the night. 

Day 2: Nizwa – Wahiba Sands

visit to the bustling Nizwa cattle market (Fridays only, 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM). Afterward, we explore the traditional Nizwa Souq, a vibrant market filled with local crafts, followed by a visit to the impressive 17th-century Nizwa Fort. After exploring the historic town of Ibra, we embark on an unforgettable adventure into the Wahiba Sands. Enjoy a thrilling 30km dune drive, arriving at a desert camp where you’ll be welcomed with tea and coffee. After a short rest, we’ll take you to the high dunes to witness a spectacular sunset—a truly unforgettable experience. Dinner is served under the stars.

Day 3: Wahiba Sands – Sur-Wadi Shab – Muscat

• After enjoying the magic of the Wahiba Sands, we’ll travel to the coastal city of Sur, known for its traditional dhow building yards. We’ll then explore Wadi Shab, an enchanting wadi with cool pools of water, lush vegetation, and towering cliffs, creating a stunning natural oasis. Finally, we’ll visit a huge sinkhole near Dibab village, with its clear green water and concrete steps leading down, making swimming possible.
