Visit to the lost city of UBAR (missing Bedouins city) – Lost city’ of Ubar, an ancient site where remains of the city were discovered in 1992 , by archaeologists using remote sensing equipment. ubar is believed to have been populated from 2800 bc too about 300 ad and to have been at one time an important trading center for frankincense before it was buried in the rising dunes. There is a small museum at the site displaying archaeological discoveries.
Drive through the spectacular al hasman (fasad) sand dunes , that are more than 200 meters in height, The spectacular dunes display their changing colors running together in great impenetrable ranks and towering with vast smooth slopes and wafer-thin like ridges.
